REBUILD PLAN

SWITCH PROGRAM

For homeowners rebuilding after a wildfire, assistance may be available through the SWITCH program for qualifying energy-efficient electric home improvements. For details, visit sce.com/switch.

Wildfire Recovery
Compensation Program

Now live, this voluntary, comprehensive claims program provides direct payments and fast resolutions to eligible individuals and businesses impacted by the Eaton Fire. More details are now available at sce.com/directclaims.

SCE Community Rebuild Meeting

On May 9, Southern California Edison hosted a community meeting focused on rebuilding efforts in the Altadena area. SCE experts provided guidance for residential and business customers and shared information on available programs to support rebuilding and recovery.

SAFETY TIPS

Downed Wires

If you see a downed power line, stay 100 feet away from it or anything that is in contact with it and call 911 immediately.

Generator Safety

Place generators outdoors and plug individual appliances directly into it, using a heavy-duty extension cord. Connecting generators directly to household circuits creates “backfeed," which is dangerous to repair crews.

Scam Safety

Authorized SCE employees will be in uniform with a company logo and will never ask for payments during home visits.
