They talk about what building decarbonization means for our transition to a clean energy future, how we can accomplish it nationwide and how it fits into the bigger picture of reducing the use of fossil fuels as we address climate impacts.

“In the United States, 70 million homes and businesses are still burning fossil fuels either for hot water or heating or both," said Kortenhorst. "If you want to get to the zero carbon future that we need to safeguard our planet from climate change, we need to eliminate all of our greenhouse gas emissions.”
