    Before the next earthquake, make sure to have water and packaged foods in your house for each family member for up to three days. A first-aid kit, working flashlight with extra batteries and battery-powered radio will also come in handy. All critical care customers should also have a backup plan in place in case the power is out for an extended period of time.
