    Solar energy is the most abundant source of energy in the world. So it should be no surprise that in the United States there has been remarkable growth in the use of solar energy. 

    The growth has been taking place for decades. In fact, SCE started connecting home solar customers to the electric grid 20 years ago. Here are five other things about solar that might surprise you.
