Californians know that a major earthquake could happen at any time. It’s become clear that fire “season” in the state is now year-round. Reducing these impacts on the power grid is the mission at Southern California Edison’s re-tooled, state-of-the-art Emergency Operations Center. Take a video tour of the center, where SCE’s highly trained Incident Management Teams gather to lead the company’s response to major power outages.
