Through Heat and Wildfires, SCE Field Crews and Staff Serve Customers
Over the last two weeks, customers throughout Southern California Edison’s service territory have faced extreme temperatures and wildfires. And through it all, SCE crews and staff have worked tirelessly to help the customers most impacted.
The Erskine Fire in Kern Valley is the latest example of how the character and commitment of our employees shone through under very difficult conditions. In the face of fire, high heat, difficult terrain and communities devastated by the fire, the unwavering dedication of crews and support staff was measured in the long shifts and the time away from their own families to help rebuild a community.
Not only did crews and support staff rebuild infrastructure, they helped bring a community, where many homes were lost, a little bit closer to returning to normal.
We could not be more proud of all the employees who supported the effort and who are continuing to complete the work that still remains.
