Whether you're defrosting your food, prepping veggies, or pre-heating your oven, here are some ways to help you save energy for your Thanksgiving dinner. 

It's important make room for dessert, but remember to also leave plenty of space in your fridge for leftovers: An overstuffed refrigerator is inefficient. 

A few energy efficient tips for Thanksgiving leftovers: 

  • Don't crowd your shelves too much.  
  • A crowded refrigerator can create warm spots and cool spaces, leading to food spoilage.  
  • Let your guests take home leftovers, if needed. 

Now that you're ready to make your delicious Thanksgiving feast, here's how to prepare your favorite dishes in the most energy-efficient way. Follow these tips to make the most of your appliances and techniques that will help you save energy.
