Remembering Jacob Moon
It is with heavy hearts I inform you that on Jan. 6, troubleman Jeffrey Jacob Moon, 26, sustained fatal injuries while responding to a service problem with a customer in the city of Paramount. His family referred to him as “Jacob” and he was known to many as “Moon” here at work. Jacob worked as a lineman based out of the Long Beach Service Center for one year and recently became a troubleman in the Lighthipe sector.
We extend our deepest sympathies to his wife Eliana, who is pregnant with their second child, their three-year-old son, other family members, friends and co-workers. Our focus is on supporting them at this difficult time.

Few details of the incident are known right now, but an investigation is in progress and we are working with authorities to better understand how this tragedy occurred. We will share more information as it becomes available.
Please continue to keep safety top of mind by keeping yourself safe and looking out for each other. I ask that you keep Jacob's family in your thoughts and prayers.
